Aplington Days offers entertainment, fun for the whole family

With summer just around the corner, the City of Aplington is kicking off the fun a little early with their annual Aplington Days festival, which is set to be held on June 4th and 5th.

The theme for this year’s festival is “It’s Magical.”

The festivities will begin on Saturday, June 2nd with citywide garage sales going on throughout the day and the Relay for Life 5K on Saturday morning, starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Aplington Recreation Complex, and ending in the same place.

On Sunday, the Aplington Community Club will host a pie and ice cream fundraiser at the Aplington Historical Society.
