Austinville Christian Reformed Church welcomes pastor

There’s a new face at Austinville Christian Reformed Church, Pastor Norm Underland, and his message is the power of God’s love and grace.

“God’s grace should not end with us. We receive it freely, but then we are meant to do something with that. The calling of the church is to be God’s hands and feet…” Underland said. “We should serve people, love people and extend the grace and love we have received to others.”

Underland is a recent graduate of Calvin Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After graduating last May with his Master’s of Divinity, he started searching for a pastoral calling. Underland visited Austinville in June after a couple of phone calls with the church. By the time he drove home, he had decided that if the church offered him the job, he would take it.
