Butler County Supervisors receive funding requests

At the Butler County Supervisors meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 7, the Butler County Soil and Water Conservation District, Butler County Fair Board and Butler County Visions of Well-Being presented their FY21 funding requests. The requests will be considered at budget time.

Soil and Water Conservation

District Conservationist Lawrence Green reported that this coming year there will be major changes in workforce structure at the Butler County Office as the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) goes through major reorganization. Offices have been under a shared management situation since 2007. Going forward, there will be a conservationist in each office, including the Allison office.
