Butler County Urban Renewal Area projects advance

More steps to secure funding for various infrastructure improvements in Butler County have been approved.

The Butler County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday approved a number of items in order to advance the sale of $3 million in bonds that would complete projects in the county’s Urban Renewal Area.

The plan includes two bridge improvement projects on T55 near the Unverferth Manufacturing plant, as well as shouldering projects on C55, T55 near the ethanol plant and Wrangler Road, which serves as a service entrance for the Menards distribution center at Shell Rock.
