Cedar Valley Hospice seeks volunteers, holds training

Cedar Valley Hospice is seeking volunteers from the Grundy Center area to donate their time and compassion to serve patients and their families.

Volunteers at Cedar Valley Hospice age from 17- 90 and come from all backgrounds. All volunteers who visit patients must participate in 16 hours of training to better understand the role of the staff and what services they provide to patients.

The next training will be held next week on Aug. 13, 15, 20 and 22 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Cedar Valley Hospice office, located at 310 E. G. Ave. in Grundy Center. All dates must be attended to complete the training. Times may change to suit all who want to attend.
