Falcons tame Bearcats, 55-0
GREENE – The Aplington-Parkersburg football team exploded out to a big lead in the second quarter of a 55-0 rout of North Butler last Friday.
The Falcons improved to 3-2 overall and 1-0 in Class 1A District 3. Next up is A-P's homecoming game with Denver on Friday.
A-P also forced seven turnovers. Cael Lupkes and Ayden Morris brought down an interception each. Reed Barrett, Payton Johnson, Nolte, Trevor Rule and Jake Wolff all recovered a fumble each from the error-prone Bearcats. As a result, North Butler (1-4, 0-1) gained just 80 yards of total offense.
