Marlys Frances Behrends, age 80, of Parkersburg, Iowa, died on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, Iowa. Funeral services were held 10:30 a.m.., Friday, March 15, 2019, at Hitesville Gospel Hall in rural Aplington. Visitation was held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., on Thursday, at the Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home in Parkersburg, and one hour before services at the church.
