New start for A-P boys basketball

PARKERSBURG – Zero starters return for the Aplington-Parkersburg boys basketball team this season.

This year's Falcon group is especially competitive as a result.

"That's five starting spots up for grabs and we usually play eight in a rotation with how we play," A-P head coach Aaron Thomas said. "So as we're figuring out who's in that top eight, you can't take a day off, a practice off or a drill off if you want one of those eight spots."

The Falcons will look to follow up from last year's 15-6 record, which included a 13-2 record in the NICL East.
