Oldenburger signs with RedTails cross country

PARKERSBURG – Miranda Oldenburger figured her cross country career was over when she crossed the finish line in Fort Dodge at the 2018 state meet.

"I thought I was going to miss it," Oldenburger recalled. "The competition and how we worked as a team was really fun."

When Hawkeye Community College came calling with an opportunity to continue competing at the next level, the three-time state qualifier jumped on it.

She'll join the RedTails' women's cross country team later this fall after a signing ceremony made it official at A-P High School on Monday, Jan. 14.
