A-P/GC wrestling preps for final home meet

FAIRBANK – Aplington-Parkersburg/Grundy Center won two duals in wrestling action last week in Wapsie Valley and Parkersburg.

A-P/GC defeated AGWSR as part of a Tuesday, Jan. 7 triangular at Wapsie Valley High School and beat Waterloo Columbus at a home triangular on Thursday, Jan. 9. A-P/GC lost to Wapsie Valley 48-26 Tuesday and lost to Sumner-Fredericksburg, 54-30 on Thursday.

The Falcons host their final home meet of the season, with Dike-New Hartford and West Marshall coming to Aplington-Parkersburg High School on Thursday, Jan. 16 with a 6:15 p.m. start time.
