A tradition of chiropractic care

Parkersburg Chiropractic has been a mainstay of downtown Parkersburg since 1938, and today, Dr. Adam Hoogestraat continues to keep the family tradition of chiropractic care passed down from his father and grandfather alive.

“We get the opportunity to help many families and patients with different health conditions. It’s rewarding to help them be healthy,” Hoogestraat said.

Most people who see a chiropractor visit because of neck pain, back pain and headaches. A wide range of other ailments are also treated. The most rewarding part of the job for Dr. Hoogestraat is to see a positive transformation in patients—and to see the body heal itself. His family built the practice with hard work and dedication.

“Experience overall is a good reason to come here. We serve by giving our honest opinion about your health,” Hoogestraat said. “If it’s not a chiropractic issue, we don’t treat [it]. We refer to the appropriate professional who can best help.”
