NEW HARTFORD – New Hartford's marquee event, Beaver Creek Days, will be held Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 4.

Friday highlights include a kids dance party from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Gazebo Park, which will be followed by the crowning of Miss New Hartford and Little Ms. & Mr. New Hartford. Packwaukee Park will also be the sight of a family movie night and a slow pitch softball game for high school and "old-timer" age players.

Pancakes are on the menu Saturday morning at the Community Building in a breakfast hosted by T-55 FFA running from 7-10 a.m. - the Beaver Creek 5K and Fun Run starts at 8 a.m., with registration proceeds going to the Dike-New Hartford cross country and track and field programs.

The annual parade is at 10 a.m., with line up at 9 a.m. at the school. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be family and kids activities - including inflatables, face painting and hatchet throwing - and a craft and vendor show, all at Packwaukee Park.

There will also be water ball fights and a bags tournament at high noon. In the afternoon on Saturday, The DooWops will provide live music at Packwaukee Park at 1:30 p.m., followed by an Eric Michaels magic show at 2:30 p.m. - the night wraps up with Beyond the Silence at 21 Junction from 8 p.m. to midnight.
