A day of ribbon cutting ceremonies in Aplington

On Saturday, Oct. 17, four downtown Aplington businesses had their ribbon cutting ceremonies. They were attended by city officials and Chamber of Commerce members. The new businesses were Shear Boutique, Peppersprout, Amber Lyons Photography and the re-opening of Then & Again Vintage. All of the businesses are along or directly next to Parriott Street in downtown Aplington.

After the ribbon cutting ceremony at Shear Boutique on Saturday, the salon and retail store had their grand opening on Parriott Street in Aplington. Guests had access to a variety of sweet treats and drink, including the Whimsical Wine Trailer, a mobile beverage stand based out of Boone, Iowa.
