Aplington-Parkersburg and Dike-New Hartford school districts will be offering free lunch programs through the school shutdown period due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Aplington-Parkersburg begins its program Monday, March 23, offered Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to noon; one lunch, per child, per day. Lunches can be picked up at:

Pull up to the building and await further instructions. No paperwork or identification required. 

Deliveries are available for special circumstances, for questions on deliveries or any concerns about food allergies, e-mail Cindy at cindy.stroh@a-pcsd.net. Food is to be consumed immediately or refrigerated and any items not consumed within seven days should be discarded.

Dike-New Hartford started its lunch program Thursday, March 19. Pick-up locations are as follows:

- Monday-Friday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., New Hartford Elementary and Circle Drive at Dike-New Hartford High School.

- Monday-Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Dietrick Trailer Park Main Office and Stout Fire Station.

One breakfast and one lunch per child provided each day. Pull up to the building and wait for a staff member to come and assist. Children must be present at time of pickup, no identification or paperwork required. Adult meals can be purchased at the sites, $2 for breakfast, $3 for lunch.
