City of New Hartford invites community to join in on fun at Pumpkin Festival

Every year on the first weekend of October, the normally small and sleepy town of New Hartford comes to life as hundreds of people pack into the city park for the annual Pumpkin Festival celebration.

This year’s festival will be held on Saturday, October 6th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Packwaukee Park.

City Clerk Shawna Hagen says she’s excited to see all the fun going on and memories being made around town this weekend.

“I’m definitely excited, I love seeing the kids so excited to pick out their pumpkins, and get their picture taken with Snoopy,” she said.
