Parkersburg council discusses Fun Days, FEMA funding
During a relatively brief meeting on Monday night, the Parkersburg city council considered plans for its summer Fun Days celebration and discussed the positive impact the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has had in town after the 2008 tornado.
As City Administrator Chris Luhring presented a 10-year update on FEMA funding, he stood up for the oft-beleaguered government agency and its assistance in the recovery process.
