Aplington-Parkersburg girls track and field 4th in Eldora
ELDORA – In their second meet of the week, Aplington-Parkersburg scored 84 points to finish fourth at the South Hardin girls invite on Friday.
Iowa Falls-Alden won the team title with 120.5 points, followed by Hudson with 99 points.
Sommer Stotler won the 100-meter dash in 13.12, with teammate Maci Freund third in 13.32.
The 4x100 relay team of Shayla Barrett, Stotler, Ellen Waller and Freund won in 54.18. The Falcons also won the 4x200 with the team of Stotler, Waller, Lexi Aswegen and Freund in 1:55.27.
Lily Hovenga was second in the 400 hurdles and Olyvia Bellows placed second in the high jump. The Falcons were also second in the 4x800 and shuttle hurdle relay races.
