Butler County Visions of Wellbeing is looking for help to meet community need during back-to-school season.

The group has already raised nearly $1,000 for their Back to School Project, but the cost of school supplies purchased were just over $5,000.

The Butler County VOW thanks those who have already donated, and encourages those wishing to donate to mail donations to Butler County Visions of Wellbeing, PO Box 744, Allison, IA, 50602. All of the funds raised goes directly toward purchasing or covering the cost of supplies that help students in Butler County.

The VOW surveyed schools in Butler County to identify supply needs to help children that may not have the resources to get their own supplies. The group then purchased those supplies and had them delivered directly to schools.

The group needs to raise at least $4,000 more in funding to cover the expenses of school supplies already purchased. In addition, the VOW would like to help provide health/hygiene items for students in need at the school, which would need an additional $2,000 funds raised.
