Carol Kromminga

Carol Eileen Kromminga, age 74, of Aplington, Iowa, was born the daughter of Folkert and Nettie (Eilderts) Jungling on December 19, 1945, at DeBuhr Sisters Maternity Home in Aplington.  Carol graduated from Aplington High School in 1964.
On January 22, 1965, Carol was united in marriage with Arlen James Kromminga at Bethel Reformed Church.  Carol lived in the Aplington and Kesley area her entire life.  She stayed at home raising her children until they were out of school.  Carol then attended and graduated from Business Institute of Technology.  After her graduation, Carol worked in secretarial positions at Boyt, Iowa Select and then Pioneer Graphics.
Carol was member at Bethel Reformed Church, where she was baptized in 1946, and confirmed in January 1965.  She taught Sunday School and Bible School.  Carol enjoyed staying very active in attending her granddaughter’s events.  
Carol died on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Unity Point Health – Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa.  Carol is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Gaylen Kromminga on November 5, 2017; a sister, Gerdena (Gratus) Mudderman; a brother, Gerald (Mary Ann) Jungling; and a brother-in-law, Wendell Kromminga.
Carol is survived by her husband, Arlen of Aplington; one daughter, Pam (Dale) de Neui of Dunkerton, Iowa; one daughter-in-law, Roxie Kromminga; three grandchildren, Amanda, Cassandra and Abby de Neui; one sister, Esther Jungling of Waterloo; two brothers-in-law, Kevin (Linda) Kromminga and Delwyn Kromminga; and one sister-in-law, Belinda Kromminga.
A Private Family Funeral Service will be held, with burial in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Austinville.
