Cleary honored at area park

The main dock in the north segment of Prairie Bridges Park in Ackley, recognizing long-time board member and park volunteer John Cleary, was set April 10. The dock was constructed by HH Construction with the talents of Adam Harms, Dustin Meyer, Joel Gronewold, and Bo Schipper. Jeremy Heem of Iowa Falls created the art panel. Cleary also has a bench dedicated in his name in the southern campground section. Cleary was born and raised in Parkersburg, and passed away on July 23, 2016.
