Eclipse wins INA awards

The Parkersburg Eclipse News-Review won the “Best in Class Advertising” award in the Weeklies Class II division during the INA awards ceremony on Thursday, April 28.

The award was given for the “Meet Your New Teachers” back to school feature, which also received first place in “Best Advertising Idea for a Community Promotion or Event”.

“A standard idea presented in a new and interesting way,” said the judges on the winning entry. “I could see this hung around the school as a poster, providing further exposure for your advertisers.”

The Eclipse placed second in “Best Ad Featuring Automotive, Boats, Aircraft, Tires, Gasoline, Etc.” for “The Anticipation is Over!”, sold by Eclipse marketing representative Molly Kahler and designed by Danielle Potkonak.
