Ellis on NJCAA PING All-American Team

The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) named DMACC's Dylan Ellis to the second team of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) PING All-American Team for the 2021 season.

Ellis, a DMACC sophomore and Aplington-Parkersburg alum, was also named to the GCAA's West All-Region Team. He was an All-American honorable mention in 2020.

Earlier this season, he earned a spot on the NJCAA All-American Team after tying for seventh place at the NJCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship at Plymouth, Indiana, held May 18-21. Ellis was the leading scorer for the Bears, finishing seventh as a team in the tournament.

Ellis won medalist honors at the NIACC Spring Invitational on April 15 at Mason City and was sixth or better at two other tournaments this season, including tying for fourth at the RedTail Shootout at Fox Ridge Golf Club in Dike on April 22. Ellis will join the Loyola Chicago men's golf team later this year.
