Jeffrey Card
Jeffrey Allen Card, age 58, of Burlington, Iowa, was born the son of Larry and Katheryn (Uhlenhopp) Card August 21, 1962, in Grundy Center, Iowa. He attended school in Parkersburg.
On April 2, 2016, Jeff was united in marriage with Wendy Kasemeier. After their marriage, the couple lived in Burlington.
Jeff worked as a Locator for many years. He was a loving, caring person. Jeff enjoyed fishing, golf, playing cards and listening to music. He kept you entertained when he was around. He was a son, husband, dad and papa. Jeff loved his time spent with his grandchildren.
Jeff died Saturday, April 3, 2021, at his home in Burlington. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Card; and step-daughter, Samantha Kasemeier.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Wendy Card of Burlington; his mother, Katheryn Hartzell of Shell Rock, Iowa; two sons, Brandon Card of Pensacola, Florida and Bryce Card of Burlington; two grandchildren, Zoe Card and Zayden Card and step-son Trent Kasemeier of Waterloo.
A Memorial Service was held 2:00 p.m., on Monday, April 12, 2021, at Redman Funeral & Cremation Services in Parkersburg. Pastor Nate Huisman officiated the service. Special music, “When I’m Gone” by Three Doors Down, “I Can Only Imagine” by Mercy Me, and “How Great Thou Art” by Alan Jackson was played. Burial was held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg with Brandon Card serving as an Urnbearer.
Visitation was from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., before the memorial service at Redman Funeral & Cremation Services in Parkersburg. Memorials may be directed to Katheryn Hartzell.
