A-P announces 2022 homecoming court
The 2022 Aplington-Parkersburg Homecoming King and Queen’s Coronation will be Thursday, Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. in the A-P High School gymnasium in Parkersburg. A-P’s homecoming parade is at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30, followed by the homecoming football game on Friday, Sept. 30 against Dike-New Hartford and the dance is scheduled from 8-11 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1 at the high school.
Cortnee Alberts is the daughter of Jeremy and Jen Alberts. She has two siblings named Cade and Bailee. Cortnee’s favorite day of homecoming week is Falcon Friday. Her extracurricular activities include volleyball, tennis, and honor society. Cortnee’s plans after high school are to attend a university and go into the medical field.
Shayla Barrett is the daughter of Scott and Rachel Barrett. She has three siblings named Riley, Silas, and Reed. Shayla’s favorite day of homecoming week is Falcon spirit day. Her extracurricular activities include cross country, dance team, the musical, all state choir, and track and field. After high school Shayla plans to attend a college studying for something in the music industry.
Cadence Bertram is the daughter of Jess and Nate Bertram. She has three siblings named Mason, Chase, and Leyton. Cadie’s favorite day of homecoming week is game day. Her extracurricular activities include volleyball, soccer, honor society, large group speech, volunteer club, and the spring play. Cadie’s plans after high school are to attend the University of Iowa and become a nurse practitioner.
Ellen Waller is the daughter of Matt and Elizabeth Waller. She has three siblings named Nick, Maddie, and Benny. Ellen’s favorite day of homecoming week is Falcon Friday. Her extracurricular activities include volleyball, basketball, track and field, student government and honor society. After high school Ellen plans to attend a university to study business.
Adison Williamson is the daughter of Travis and Emily Williamson. She has two siblings named Aubrey and Ava. Adison’s favorite day of homecoming week is Falcon Friday. Her extracurricular activities include cross country, basketball, track, softball, FFA, and honor society. Adison’s plans after high school are to attend a university majoring in Biology.
Dakota Dally is the son of Darcy and Jim Dally. He has five siblings named Ally, Jill, Jessica, Hunter, and Jetta. Dakota’s favorite day of homecoming week is Falcon Spirit Day. His extracurricular activities include football, wrestling, track, and honor society. After high school Dakota plans to attend college for football and counseling.
Jack Eddy is the son of Rusty and Julie Eddy. He has two siblings named Ava and Joe. Jack’s favorite day of homecoming week is Falcon Friday because of the football game. Throughout his high school career he has been involved in football, basketball, track and field, baseball, choir and student government. Jack’s plans after high school are to attend college with an undecided major.
Kamdon Hoppenworth is the son of Klay and Mindie Hoppenworth. He has four siblings named Kolbon, Kason, Kalob and Mylie. Kamdon’s favorite day of homecoming week is Dad day. His extracurricular activities include cross country, archery, play, musical, golf, baseball, All State choir, large group speech, FCA leader, and honor society. After high school Kamdon plans to attend U.N.I for Business.
Will Steege is the son of Nate and Jess Steege. He has three siblings named Mick, Finn and Dane. Will’s favorite day of homecoming week is anything but a backpack day. His extracurricular activities include football, basketball, golf, and baseball. Will’s plans after high school are to attend a college to study kinesiology and play golf.
Martez Wiggley is the son of Antwoin and Summer Wiggley. He has two siblings named Savannah and Sophia Wiggley. Tez’s favorite day of homecoming week is Falcon Spirit Day. His extracurricular activities include football and basketball. After high school Tez plans to attend college to study sports management and play football.
