UPDATE: The Iowa High School Athletic Association announced last Friday that the season will be shortened to seven weeks in length, with all teams making the playoffs. Updated schedules are listed below -- the start date for football remains unchanged at this time, but the playoffs will now begin on Oct. 16.

The Iowa High School Athletic Association has released football schedules for the 2020 season, scheduled to begin on Friday, Aug. 28.
