Parkersburg Duck Race winners announced

The 20th Annual Parkersburg Lions Club Duck Race was held on Saturday, Aug. 6 at Croell’s Redi-Mix.

The Duck Race is the Lions Clubs main yearly fundraiser, with the money raised to be donated to community and miscellaneous projects.

The Lions thank everyone who purchased tickets, Croell’s for the use of the cement truck and Charly for mixing the ducks up and releasing them down the chute.

The winners of the 2022 Duck Race were: Kevin Meester, Sinclair Elevator (donated winnings back to Lions), Brent Hanisch, June Karsjens, Michelle Baker, John Heffner, Chad Oldenburger, Russ Miller, Russ Stickley, Wade VanHauen, Noa Kyhl, Amy Haan, Darla Drewelow.

Parkersburg Lions Club sells Nuts & Candy once a month at the American Legion Breakfast and supports local community needs and events. If interested in learning more about Lions and attending a meeting, get in contact with a Lions Member.
