A-P alum May to coach XC at Pella Christian
May
C.J. May, a 2020 grad-to-be from the University of Northern Iowa, will join Pella Christian's cross country program as an assistant coach this fall.
May is an Aplington-Parkersburg grad who won a state individual cross country title and the 3,200-meter run in his senior year with the Falcons in 2015-2016, prior to joining UNI's cross country and track and field teams. As a Panther, he won the Missouri Valley Conference Steeplechase competition in 2017.
He was recently honored with the Dr. Charlotte West Scholar-Athlete Award for his work as co-founder of UNI's Cyber Security Organization and his volunteer work with Boys & Girls Club, MLK Day of Service, Junior Panther Night and the Panther Reading Program.
