IFCA announces academic all-state football teams

The Iowa Football Coaches Association recognized four area players on the academic all-state teams released recently.

Aplington-Parkersburg’s Sam Livingood and Kale Riherd and Dike-New Hartford’s Jacob Stockdale and Nolan Dall earned spots on the Class 1A team.

Criteria for selection to the teams included being a senior starter with a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or better at the end of their junior year, being involved with other extracurricular activities and receiving a nomination from the team’s head coach.
