All-state softball: D-NH's Kvale named to 1st team

Dike-New Hartford senior Taylor Kvale was selected to the first team of the Class 2A all-state team released by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association last week.

It’s the fourth time that Kvale, an Upper Iowa recruit, has received all-state recognition.

Kvale hit .407 this year for the Wolverines, with eight doubles, two triples, three home runs and 22 runs batted in with 39 runs scored. She also stole 36 bases on 39 attempts, which ranked sixth among baserunners in 2A, and had a .959 fielding percentage at shortstop.
