Local banks "Pull for a Cause"

MidWestOne Bank and Lincoln Savings Bank competed in a rope pull at Ed Thomas Field during halftime of Friday’s Aplington-Parkersburg football game. The event was connected with a food drive to benefit the A-P Food Pantry, with the “loser” donating $100 more to the pantry. While MidWestOne was victorious in the end, both banks made their donations in addition to Thanksgiving-themed canned goods donated by fans on Friday.
