Grundy Center hosts job fair

Grundy Center High School provided the space for a high school career fair provided by the Butler-Grundy Development Alliance, held last Wednesday, Jan. 11. Five schools brought nearly 400 students to check out 23 businesses and employers exhibiting in the high school gymnasium. The event was focused on manufacturing, value-added ag, healthcare and finance jobs due to space limitations and other business sectors will be represented in future events. The Butler-Grundy Development Alliance thanked the high school, Grundy County REC and Stacy Ascher with Cedar Valley West for their work in making the career fair possible. (Molly Kahler photos)
