     The first time I went to the Philippines was in 2006 after I had done a Bible smuggling trip to Vietnam.  I had met a Philippine pastor in the spring of that year who invited me to come and visit while I was at a missions meeting in Amsterdam.  That is when I met my lovely wife, Nelia, who I went back several times more to visit between 2007 and 2008.
