Butler County EMS, EMA, Public health plan blood drive, open house

Butler County Public Health, EMS and EMA will be hosting a Community Blood Drive and Open House Oct. 21 from 12:30 to 5 p.m. at 610 N. Oak Street in Allison.

With blood in such a shortage, this is a great time for people to donate blood that could possibly save someone’s life. This will also be an opportunity for the public to take a tour of the facilities, learn about services and ask questions about the upcoming election where the Butler County EMS tax levy will be on the ballot.  

Anyone wanting to donate blood will need to sign up online at www.redcrossblood.org, enter in sponsor code ButlerCoIA or enter in zip code 50602 and search for event. For questions or help signing up, call Kara at BCPH 319-346-6575
