PARKERSBURG - Tuesday’s rivalry showdown between Aplington-Parkersburg and Dike-New Hartford turned into an indoor track meet, and that’s exactly what the Falcons strive for. 

20 steals and some runouts allowed the A-P girls to race past the Wolverines 62-28 for their first win over DNH since December of 2018. 

“I think our assistant coaches, Ellie Etjen and Kaitlin Cuvelier were both playing in high school the last time [A-P] beat DNH,” senior Emma Wolff said. “Our coaches and of course us wanted this win, so it feels good to finally have this one.”
