The New Year rang in a little less bright for the Parkersburg community as the city, and surrounding area, mourned the loss of Tom Teeple.
The 74-year old barber was a pillar of downtown Parkersburg. As of February 2020, Tom's Barber Shop was the longest standing business in downtown Parkersburg. He spent more than 50 years using the venue to not just cut hair, but to socialize with anyone that walked through his door.
