PARKERSBURG - A stream of local and area residents drove by Henry Heeren’s house on Saturday to wish him well on his birthday. However, this wasn’t just another birthday, the Parkersburg man achieved a unique milestone as he just turned 100 years old.

Henry Heeren is turning 100 this year, and his family would like to invite anyone wanting to wish him a happy birthday to participate in a car parade.

Henry will be outside his home at 1323 Circle Drive in Parkersburg on Saturday, September 19, 2020 between 2 and 3 p.m. and people are encouraged to drive by, honk, and either toss a card in his mail box or mail him a card.
