Governor issues public health disaster emergency

DES MOINES - Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds issued a State of Public Health Disaster Emergency in response to COVID-19, activating the public health response and recovery aspects of the State Disaster Emergency Plan effective at noon on Tuesday, March 17 and continuing for the next 30 days.
