The Parkersburg Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Branch Out Your Roots in Parkersburg on Friday, November 13. Jeffrey and Emily Downs cut the ribbon during their Grand Opening, pictured with members of the Chamber of Commerce, city officials, and residents that helped them bring their dream to life. Branch Out Your Roots is a business built around antiques, heirlooms and ancestry research. They are open until 6PM today, so make sure to stop by today and browse their wares.

PARKERSBURG - Jeffrey and Emily Downs are an Aplington couple who have led anything but typical lives. The husband and wife have lived all over the United States, appeared as guests on multiple reality shows, and now they are opening a business that they hope will inspire and allure those who step foot inside.

 

Together, they have begun “Branch Out Your Roots,” a one-of-a-kind business based in Parkersburg that specializes in genuine antiques, heirloom items and ancestry research, offering a revolving inventory of goods so that there is always something new to see.
