Organizers for the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI) announced that the 2020 running of the event would be postponed to 2021 due to concerns with the coronavirus and COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus.

The host towns and route planned for the 48th running of RAGBRAI will not change for 2021. The route included overnight stops in Iowa Falls and Waterloo; Parkersburg is considered a lunch-time stop along the route.
