Sec. Naig visits Butler County

Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig traveled to Grand Central Jerseys in Bristow, Iowa on Tuesday, June 1.

Naig's visit was fitting during June's Dairy Month.

Iowa State Senator Annette Sweeney and State Representative Shannon Latham joined in on the visit.

The dairy farm is owned by Robert Horst, and milks 200 jersey cows. Horst grew up in Maryland and moved to Iowa in 1999. He has since grown his dairy to what it is today.

Horst takes pride in being able to provide the highest quality product while also being a sustainable producer.
