Falcons bury Panthers in second half 35-6, earn 250th program win

PARKERSBURG - A tale of two halves for Aplington-Parkersburg football ended on a happy note as the Falcons scored 28 points in the second half against Central Springs on Homecoming night for the program’s 250th victory. 

“You think back to all the guys who have been a part of this program, how they have had a hand in our success is tremendous,” A-P coach Aaron Thomas said. “I hope our guys take a lot of pride in saying they were the group to get this 250th win. Having it happen on Homecoming is more special to all of us.”
