Merry Christmas, Ruth: Local couple to celebrate first Christmas with adopted daughter

Reverend and Mrs. Kevin and Rachel Pulliam are used to celebrating their Christmases as just two. 

Their celebrations were joyful, the meals delicious, the family gatherings a blessing, and the hope of Advent bright.

Yet, something (or someone) was missing each Christmas. 

For years the Pulliams had hoped for a child. They wanted to have another presence to open gifts with them on Christmas morning. 

After years of hoping, however, doctors informed them that they were not able to have children.
